My husband and I started Mum’s Place in 1986. As the business grew, I felt inspired to pursue a degree in interior design. For over eight years, I ran my own small, boutique furniture store in Carmel as well as in our hometown of Pacific Grove.

In addition to my formal training and retail experience, my love for art and history has cultivated my knowledge of design in all it's forms. Travelling with our two boys exposed me to new cultures, styles, and traditions, which remain a constant source of inspiration in my work.

Working in staging and design serves as the perfect creative outlet. I use high-end, designer furniture to give the homes the necessary face-lift they need. My arrangements and presentations are unique and eye-catching- - using the latest styles in furniture and décor-- and always compliments the architecture of the home. It is rewarding to see the transformation of an empty house into a happy haven. I go into every house with prayers for the best sales results. I am detail oriented, well organized, and am attuned to the importance of composition and tasteful design. I look forward to collaborating with you.
